Created by Beth Bender and Lia Robin, this brand was born not from a boardroom, but from the real-life moments that happen in the chair: long days on set, fast touch-ups in trailers, and quiet conversations with clients who just wanted to look in the mirror and feel good.

Lia Robin is a seasoned film and television makeup artist whose love for beauty runs far deeper than aesthetics. For her, makeup is a powerful tool for confidence, transformation, and connection. After more than 20 years behind the scenes, working on demanding sets, under intense lighting, and with a wide range of skin types, she grew increasingly frustrated by a familiar dilemma: products that delivered on performance but felt harsh on the skin, or formulas that felt beautiful to wear but couldn’t stand the test of time. This ongoing disconnect became more than a professional challenge, it became a personal mission, that ultimately led her to partner with Beth, to create something real. A brand rooted in truth, designed to finally bridge the gap between performance and experience.

Beth Bender brings her own legendary mark to Sainte Labs as the founder of Beth Bender Beauty. A pioneer in artistry innovation, Beth’s eyeliner stencils and cult-loved formulas helped redefine what makeup could be for pros and everyday users alike. With over two decades of experience and building a brand from scratch, Beth’s fearless creativity and commitment to making beauty more accessible and intuitive has shaped the soul of Sainte Labs. Together, Lia and Beth have built a brand where high performance meets human connection.

We didn’t start Sainte Labs to chase trends. We started it because we couldn’t find what we needed, products that looked as good on camera as they did in daylight, and could live in a pro kit and your purse. We knew if we didn’t create it, someone else might, but, it wouldn’t have our story, our hands, or our standards behind it. We were tired of choosing between what looked good and what felt good. So we made something better.
